Technology for Speakers at the Blackboard Developers Conference
Session rooms will be equipped with a standard AV package including a PC with Windows XP and MS Office 2003. If you wish to use our standard PCs, please bring your session with you on a memory stick or similar device. Speakers also have the option of bringing their own laptops for their presentation.
Regardless of if you are using a Blackboard PC or your own, speakers should check-in at the Speaker Ready Room at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled presentation. This will allow time to review and finalize your presentation. The computers in the Speaker Ready Room will be configured with hardware and software identical to the computers in the meeting rooms. We highly recommend that you review your presentation in the Speaker Ready Room to ensure a smooth presentation. Speaker Ready Room hours will be posted soon.
Audio/Visual Information
Blackboard will provide a standard AV support package for all sessions. Session rooms will be supplied with the equipment outlined below:
- LCD Projector & Screen, PC w/ Windows XP & MS Office 2003
- Hi-Speed Internet w/ RJ-45 Connection
- Laser Pointer, Wireless PowerPoint Remote
