Time Zone
The state of Arizona follows Mountain Standard Time all year long. With the exception of the Navajo Reservation in the northeastern corner of the state, Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time.
This means that in Arizona we never change our clocks like most of the rest of the country does. From the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October, AZ is on the same time as those states on Pacific Daylight Time, like California and Nevada; one hour behind the states on Mountain Daylight Time, like Colorado; two hours behind states in the Central Daylight Time zone, such as Texas and Illinois; and three hours behind those states on Eastern Daylight Time, such as New York and Florida.

Conference Attire
Attire for BbWorld® Commerce '07 sessions and special events will be business casual. Since meeting room temperatures and personal comfort zones vary widely, it is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions. Also, evenings can be cool in the desert.

The BbWorld® Commerce '07 registration desk will be located in the lobby of the Carefree Resort and Villas. Registration will be open the following hours:

The Carefree Resort and Villas offers a full service business center to service any of your "away from the office" business needs. Services include coping, fax, and printing as well as internet access. All guest rooms feature high speed internet access and a Cyber Cafe will be available so that you may check your email while attending the conference.
Hotel Accommodations
The Carefree Resort and Villas offer 465 deluxe guest rooms, luxury suites, spacious Casitas, and residential Villas, all beautifully appointed. Each guest room features offers colorful drapes, mirrors, large desks with comfortable chairs, armoires, alarm-clock radios and a patio or private balcony.
Standard amenities for all accommodations include iron and ironing board, hairdryer, coffeemaker with complimentary coffee, cable television with pay-per-view movies and housekeeping services. All guest rooms are equipped with telephones with voicemail and dataports.
Airport Transportation:
Shuttles
Shuttle vans and buses operated by off-airport companies are a popular and convenient transportation option. Follow the signs in baggage claim to the appropriate loading area.
Discounted Commerce Shuttle Transportation:
We have arranged for special shuttles to transport attendees directly between the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and the Carefree Resort & Villas without any stops, however, these shuttles will only be available on the following days:
Sunday, April 15: (from airport to resort)
Wednesday, April 18: (return to airport)
Blackboard will contact you to obtain your airport arrival information (flight itinerary). This information is required in order to guarantee your transfer to the resort.
Cost for a roundtrip airport shuttle ticket is $80 each (per person)

Driving Directions To Carefree Resort and Villas
From the North (Flagstaff): Take 1-17 South to Carefree Highway. Exit at the Carefree Highway / Lake Pleasant exit, and go east. Continue east on Carefree Highway to Tom Darlington Road. Turn left onto Tom Darlington Road, and continue north to Cave Creek Road. Turn right at the four-way stop onto Cave Creek Road, and continue to Mule Train Road. Turn left at the four-way stop on to Mule Train Road. Continue north on Mule Train Road approximately a quarter-mile to the resort lobby, located on the left.
From the South (Tucson): Travel I-10 West to US-60 East. Exit east on to US-60, and continue to Loop 101 North. Continue north on Loop 101 to the Scottsdale Road exit. Turn left onto Scottsdale Road, and continue north about 14 miles to Cave Creek Road. (Scottsdale Road will turn in to Tom Darlington Road as you pass Carefree Highway). Turn right at the four-way stop on to Cave Creek Road, and continue to Mule Train Road. Turn left at the four-way stop on to Mule Train Road. Continue north on Mule Train Road approximately a quarter-mile to the resort lobby, located on the left.
From the West (Los Angeles): Take I-10 east to SR-51. Exit north on to SR-51, and continue to Loop 101 East. Continue east onto Loop 101 to the Scottsdale Road exit. Turn left onto Scottsdale Road, and continue north to Cave Creek Road. (Scottsdale Road will turn in to Tom Darlington Road as you pass Carefree Highway). Turn right at the four-way stop on to Cave Creek Road, and continue to Mule Train Road. Turn left at the four-way stop on to Mule Train Road. From the East: Travel on US-60 West to Loop 101 North. Continue north on Loop 101 to Princess Boulevard / Pima Road Exit 36.
