BbWorld '07 Attendee FAQs

Q: What is the attire for the conference?
A: Business Casual to Casual. However, we recommend that you bring a sweater or jacket for added warmth, as the convention center can get cold at times.

Q: Are we allowed to bring guests to BbWorld '07 evening events?
A: Registered BbWorld '07 conference attendees and exhibitors are automatically invited to attend the event at the Hynes Convention Center. Guests are welcome to attend, for an additional fee:

Spouse/Guest Registration - $300
Spouse/Guest Registration includes: Access to the Exhibit Hall and Cyber Café, as well as the evening functions on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Client Appreciation Party ONLY (Wednesday, July 11th) - $125
Individual guest passes can be purchased on-site at the BbWorld '07 registration desk.

Q: Are children allowed as guests to the receptions?
A: Due to the fact that we will be serving alcohol at our receptions, no one under the age of 21 will be permitted to attend the receptions at BbWorld.

Q: I've already made my hotel reservations but need to make changes. How do I go about doing that?
A: Please contact BbWorld '07 Hotel Headquarters at (888)839-8523 or (937) 824-8103, 8:00AM-5:00PM EST, Monday-Friday or email them at bbworld@eim-inc.com.

Q: Who do I contact if I have special needs, such as wheelchair accessibility, specific dietary needs, etc.?
A: You should include those requests in the Special Needs section of the registration site. If you have already registered and forgot to include that, please call: (425) 636-1640 or email: info@mra-services.com.

Q: I am hearing impaired. Who should I contact if I need a sign language interpreter?

Q: Where can I find speaker information?
A: Speaker support information will be available online soon. In the meantime, please contact Kerry Jo Richards at krichards@blackboard.com with questions.

Q: Can I pay for my registration using a Purchase Order (PO)?
A: Yes. Use the online registration form and select “Pay by Check.” Continue with the registration process and then print a summary of your registration. Use this summary to generate a PO and fax the PO to 425-636-1630, or email it to info@mra-services.com. MRA will send an invoice referencing the PO number.

Please indicate your institution name and your registration confirmation number(s) when processing the funds transfer to ensure proper application of your payment to your account. Please also send an e-mail to info@mra-services.com that includes the attendee's name, institution name, confirmation number, date of wire and amount.

Note: Wire instructions MUST designate Blackboard's FULL TEN DIGIT CREDIT ACCOUNT NUMBER. Wires received by Silicon Valley Bank with INCOMPLETE or INVALID ACCOUNT NUMBERS may be delayed and could possibly require return to the sending bank due to new regulations.

Q: Can I pay for my registration via check?
A: Yes. Please fill out online registration form and select the option "Pay by Check." Continue with the registration process and then print a summary of your registration and mail it along with your check to MRA Services. All checks MUST be paid in US Dollars.

Q: What are the criteria to get the Team Discount applied to my registration fee?
A: A discount applies if 3 or more individuals are registering from the same organization. These must be full, non-discounted registrations. A $50 discount is automatically calculated on the 3rd team member and each additional team member after that.

Q: If I register for one day attendance at BbWorld '07, what does that include?
A: One day attendance includes all of sessions for that day (with the exception of training, which you have to register and pay for separately), all scheduled meal functions and special events.

Q: Can I register for an exhibit only pass?
A: No, at this time BbWorld does not offer exhibit only passes. One day registrations are available for a nominal fee, which grants access to all sessions, meals and social functions for the day.
